Nintendo

Cool! The new Nintendo 3DS is out already. I have heard so many great things about it. Like one...I heard from the video that the top screen is 10x bigger then the Nintendo DS. Here is some research on it. First the game was just released yesterday March 27,2011. The gaming device went on sale in the U.S for 250$. This game lets users play 3D games without using special glasses. It also takes 3D photos ,isnt that AWESOME! This summer the 3DS will be able to play 3D movies from Netflix on its one of its screens. The 3DS has 2 camers in the back of the game. Another good thing about this game is that the game is all to yourself you can say, do and think what you want because there is nobody to tell you anything and also you dont have to bve diturbed by anyone. The game has "okay" chargeing. It has 3.5 hours of charge. So if your a game adict you might want to take a charger everywhere you go. Well theres one little catch to the game. You have to be over 7 years old. Well thats no problem to us Middle Schoolers. Here is a picture of the game->

Gaming

At the end of the year we will have a game to present. I would try to sell my game to people. That would be so cool if someone were to buy it.I would love to buy someone elses game as well. If it was good. Well what celebrity would I have on my game. I would have Alicia Keys. I would have her on my game because she is such an inspiration to me because she is really nice. I also love her because she is a really great singer. Well another person I would have is Rihanna. She is a really good singer too. The other reason I would put tese two celebritys is because I want to do a game on teen dating violence and because of what happened to Rihanna but thats not it.Its just because I really like these two people .I would advertise my game on the tv,internet,commercials and everywhere possible that someone can buy it. Although I would be careful because you never know whos out there.

Japan

I think that it is a terrible thing that Japan was hit by the tsunami. I really feel bad for the children and parents that went through this and that aslo lost loved ones. I believe that it is a good thing that the school is helping raise money to send because a lot of people dont have food,clothes or shelter. If I were to do something to help Japan I would ask the school to help raise money for Japan. I would also have a fundraiser or a basket sell to help.With the money that we raise I would buy clothing and food to send to Japan.Then with the rest of the money I would send it to Japan so that they will have money to build houses. I would also send money to them to help make the things that they need and also to rebuild the stores. I would like to help the people in Japan because without them most of us wouldnt have our computers,cell phones, or even iPods. We all know how much we love those things.

I think it is a really really bad thing that the eartquake as well as the Tsunami hit Japan.I also feel bad for the people in California and Hawii because they also got hit by the Tsunami .Even though it wasnt as ad it still matters.Here is a picture of the tsunami.-->. PSP

This handheld game is really cool to me because it is touch screen most of all and also because its another device that can keep you occupied whenever you are bored.I know I get bored all the time so I would buy it. Although there are some bad things about the video game devices.This device can lead to more children skipping school and have electronic devices in school. The reason is becuase games are so adicting that students stay home and play games. I would like to buy this game but then I would also not buy it.^ I got this image from bing.com.

Mad Hot Ballroom

What Is "Teamwork" mean to you?To me teamwork is where you go with a group of people and work on something together.Also it means you don't argue,fight or go against eachother.This film follows P.S 112,P.S 150 and P.S 115 (P.S stands for Public School).

How do you see these students trying to work together?I see that they are trying to work together by telling eachother there faults.Also they work together by not fooling around.They stay focused.They also help eachother on what steps to do and everything else.The danceing brings them together as friends and even closer friends which makes them work better.I think that the main message was to change the childs life.The reason that its this main message was because in the movie they pointed out some of the students and told how they were on the wrong path.Then it showed how they succeded in doing something that they liked.Some of the situsations are that if the parents at home dont care why should you.Also thats why people should find something that they love and be able to do that activity to succeed.How important was teamwork for these students?Teamwork was imoirtant for these students because they all needed a partner and had to get used to being together and helping eachother out.I think the main message is that you need to work together for everything.Also that if you find something that you love it will help you find out what your good at and you can succeed in life.I will work together with my teammates in globaloria by helping everyone in flash.

Math Video Game

The game that I played was called Math Man.In this game we learn our adding and subtracting.It may not seem so important because we are seventh graders but, it really is important to know the basics.One day you might need to add or subtract to figure something out and those will be the only things that you can use to find the answer that you need.In this game the object is to look at the equation on the top of the spaceship then find the answer on the bottom.But they give you like five different answers and you have to choose the correct one.Also you have to do it before the spaceships get on top of you.If the spaceships get on top of you-you will lose some life or get sick and when the heart on the bottom runs out of the color red you will die and the game will end.This game is helpful because you learn even more ways to add and subtract.Also because it is good refreshment to adding and subtracting because maybe and I'm not saying it is guaranteed to happen but some people might forget the easiest things like adding and subtracting because its not going anywhere you have to use it your whole life.Well also another thing is that you just learn more and more.

Animal Cruelty

On these games they talked about and worried about how animals are being used in their body parts.On these games they talked about how McDonalds does not use chicken.This game is played by trying to save the princess and the animals.The social issue is that animals are being killed for there meat and that is not good.The game tought about the issue is that they were teaching on how to not kill animals and how McDonalds does it and all that.The second game we played is the J-Lo game.In this game you had to get away from J-Lo and save the animals and inform the workers on what they are working for.They tought the issue by telling us facts about different animals during breaks.Also by including a video.I didnt get to play the last one because it wasnt loading the right way.
