Planet Earth:

The Future of Saving Species

Today in Globaloria we watched a video on the Planet Earth and how humans and other things are affecting animals and there habitats. I took a lot of notes on this video. One of my notes was that the worlds wilderness is in danger. Most of these problems are because of human beings. the human beings are pouching which is killing animals for the animals body parts. Humanity is the cause for some of these problems.Most of these problems that we are causing will affect us as well as the animals. The animals that are losing there habitats are polar bears,elephants and leopards. All of these animals are endangered animals. There are lots of other animal's are endangered. Most of the animals on ground are forced to go up onto mountains because of poaching. Poaching is killing animals for human needs.We need to to help out these animals. It will also affect the human race.

Social Issue Topics

The two topics that I am most interested in are global warming and my other topic is teen pregnancy.

http://worldlife.org/site/pageserver/pagename=can_actions_world :I chose this topic because of the disastrous things that global warming is causing.Global warming is causing the polar ice caps to melt which is not helping the polar bears that live there.Also they will make the polar bears go extinct because they can not find ice to rest so they have to swim.It is also hurting other animals everywhere because of the heat and coldness.

1. http://www.care.org/Look under the topic of news. I chose this topic because a lot of girls and women are getting treated like nothing.That's not the right way to do that.everyone should get equal treatment.
2. www.childhelpusa.org/ : Here is the link to the story that I read that I decided to write about. I chose this as my second topic because like it says in this story there isn't as much awareness of child abuse that there should be.There are lots of children out there that are getting abused and they don't know where to go, because nobody knows about it.
3. http://www.kidsturncentral.com/: I chose this website on this topic because there are lots of kids in school that are getting bullied and don't know what to do.They don't know what to do because they're afraid.
4. http://www.worllife.org/site/pageserver?pagname=can_actions_world: I chose this website because it is a big social issue that is mostly caused by human beings.This social issue is called global warming.It is a social issue because there are lots of animals that are dieing because there habitat is also dieing and that is because of global warming.

This is a technology picture, I think that it is the cords that you connect the computer to. I really like this picture because not only is it a cool technology picture (and my favorite color).It also inspires me to work hard on the globaloria game that we will be making this year in this technology class.It's a really cool picture, that I think should inspire more people to focus more on technology. I think that people should appriciate the people that make technology because without it there would be no cell phones,computers or anything.
