CHRISTMAS

Christmas to me is a time were your family should get together and put all your differences aside and have a merry Christmas. I also think it is a time to have fun and enjoy. What I would like for my family to do is that I would like for my family not to fight. My family traditions are that we wake up in the morning and we will open half of our presents and then at the end of the day we will open the rest of the presents. I would like to travel somewhere but we only go to our Tia's and tio's house. We also go to my moms best friends house. It is fun during Christmas time. I would like to see the new movie. Alvin and the Chimpmunks, the sqiukwall. That looks like a good movie.

Today we went to see the Toros play basketball. It was so fun. This is the first time that I have went to a basketball game in school. This is the first basketball game period. I liked the game. There were cheerleaders there I did not like some of them because short short dresses first then short short shorts. I really would like to do that again. It was better because it was during school hours and we missed a lot of our classes. I would like to have more field trips during the day like this one. I really had fun at the game today exspecially because we got to sit with our friends at the game and we didn't have to sit in our groups. I really liked it also because we got to go to the concession stands and buy something. But the bad thing is that at the end they lost the game. But it was also funny because the teachers were yelling like they have never yelled before. It was very FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New York Visitors

New York Visitors

Yesterday we had visitors from New York. They came and talked to us on how we can make our game more interesting and also how to make the math concept come out. They also gave us more ideas for our game. They called some other people from New York so that we can talk to them, While we are doing our presentation. While the four people were up there telling the whole class and the visitors about there game the people who were on the phone were also listening. After the first person did her presentation for her game Rachel (aka visitor) told the person that was doing the presentation some ideas that she can add and some other ideas that she can redo. Also after Rachel pitched some ideas the people on the phone gave some ideas to the presenter. After that three more people went up to the computer and shared about there game. The same thing that the visitors did with the first they did with the second, third , and fourth. I can understand what Rachel told the presenter, and whats he told her I connected to my game and then I thought about ideas I can use to make my game better. I did not go up to the computer , but what they told the other people about there game I connected to my game and then I started to think about more ideas.

Now that the visitors came I can understand more about making the game and the concept of it. Now that the visitors have came I have more excitement on making the game. Also now that they have came I feel that making the game wont be so hard after all.

What I have learned and enjoyed about making your game? What is the most exciting thing about as you start making your game.What I have learned so far this week is that making a game doesn't look so hard if you don't make it look hard. I have enjoyed that I have learned a lot.What is most exciting for me is that I get to make my own game. I a also excited because it is so cool for us to make our own game. I am also excited about that I can play my own game and I can teach my sisters and my brother. I would like to learn more about the game and how to make it. i am very excited to be making a game.

On Thanksgiving I am going to eat Turkey,Stuffing,and others. I cant wait to see my favorite cousins Jesse,Joel, and John Paul. They are coming over to have Thanksgiving with us. I also cant wait to see my Tia Joann. She is so awesome!! Honestly I don't know what we are eating for Thanksgiving. We are going to watch the Texas Longhorn game. My dad loves the Texas Longhorns. I do to. Also my other cousins are coming they are awesome to. There names are Vanessa,Chris, and Nicholas. We are supposed to play game like kickball, football, and all kinds of other games. I cant wait till Thanksgiving!!! I am going to help my mother and grandmother cook the food. I like to cook the turkey and the stuffing. It is always fun to me on Thanksgiving. Well ad least sometimes. Also sometimes Thanksgiving ends bad, but it is still cool.

Importance of following directions

DIRECTIONS

I think following directions is important because if you do not follow directions while being instructed you might get hurt if it is something serious,also you will get in trouble. It is also important because if you don't and the thing you are getting instructed on is for a grade you can get a bad grade because you do not know what to do. I also know that it is important because the teacher are person who is giving you directions is giving his/her time to instruct you. It is also important because you need to respect the teacher,parent,and whoever else is instructing you. It is important to follow the rules so you will not get in trouble. It is also important for adults to follow directions adults are a bigger version of children when it comes to following directions. It is also important to follow instructions because it might be a situation were someone can get killed or severely hurt. That is the reason why following and listening to directions is important to adults and children.
