THE VISIT

Yesterday we had a visit from a lady that works with flash. I really could not understand what she was saying half of the time because she went really fast. Her name was Shanon. Also she really was mean. But, out of all of it I did learn a lot of things from it. It was fun. We learned how to put our prototype. We learned how to put our code for the hyperlink. The hyperlink lets us go to our flash lash prototypes into our wiki pages. We did learn a lot of things from Shanon but she was very loud. That was good so I could here her. We also learned how to put the code to put our sort of hyperlink to get to our flash just encase we would have to edit our paper folder and work on it from any computer. We also learned how to copy and past the codes in order to make the hyperlink to our flash. In would and probably would not like for the Shanon to come back. But I most likely would like her to come back.

Team progress

I am writing about my teams team progress. I am not going to say anything bad . Because they might take it the wrong way. My team has been getting along great. Sometimes there are disagreements but we figure out a way to work them out. There has not been any unresolved issues because when we have one issue we call a meeting to work them out.During the team assighments everyone does there work. Sometimes we al have mistakes that our friends help us with. Also while we are working we have little 5 minuete breaks. I think thatt our game has been coming along great now that we are in groups because if we were still individuals we would have lots more work to do than what we do now. I feel that we have a good game topic that will help people understand the objective. I feel that my game topic and the one game topic that we have now are really the same.

Drawing in Flash

I am writing about drawing in flash. I am not going to show how to draw in flash because it is a lot of work. Anyways I am writing about drawing in flash and what I learned while drawing in flash. Before I started to draw in my flash I had to watch a video. FLASH VIDEO!!The video showed all the important stuff about the tools that you will need to use during the assessment that is given to you. Also it talks about how you can make the outlining and a perfect square, oval and circle. That's about it on the flash video. I did learn some new techniques in flash. I learned how to make a perfect circle in flash and learned how to do the outlining in the end. The subject of our game is math Objective 4 project and a social issue. To be honest we actually don't really have a social issue , But we did put a lot of math into it. Also there will be 4 levels in our game. I have learned a lot since my last blog entry. I would like to learn even more about drawing in flash. Even though it is hard to work on it is a very good thing to learn. Because you can become great things and have a good job.I actually would like to learn more about drawing in flash because there are a lot of things that you can do or become. Even though it is hard work. I would very much like to see someone that I know and as well myself become wealthy just because I learned flash, But in order to do that you will need to have more and more education and go to college.

SNOW DAY

Today it was snowing in Austin TX. Usually it never snows in Austin ,Tx

but today it did. We were all so excited about the snow. Today we got out early for it. It was awesome. When i got home I built a snow man. The snow man had all of the buttons and the face it was awesome. My mom and dad and syblings were outside when I got home. My grandparents were outside also. It was also so good that it was snowing because we got out of school so early because the classes at the end of the day are so boring.I would really like to s hare this moment with other people of the Austin Texas city.

This day will a day to remember because it hardly ever snows in Austin, Tx.

Team Mates

I think working with my team mates is very fun. They all work very so hard and have good thinking. It was very exciting to re-present our paper prototypes and would like to thank the technology teacher for giving us a second chance to re-present the paper prototype. I think that having more time and help-helped us understand the game. It helped me a whole lot because it gave us more time to put our math objective in the game.

It also helped us because the tech teacher had gave us her opinion so we had stuff to work on and we new what to work on. We were not confused anymore after we had help. Some of our frustrations were that we had to re-draw in a period of time. Also the nervousness of all of our team.We were nervous because we new what to do just not so much how to do it so very good. Our triumphant moments were fun.

Globaloria

In my team I got the wiki updater job and the secretary. I am good at these two jobs because I am good at keeping track of updating the wiki. Also I am good at the secretary job because I am organized and I am a good writer In my group we did not have a lot of disagreements. We only had two disagreements, and that was that we were getting confused with the jobs.During our disagreement I had the team captain vote.The other disagreement was on the team name .We resolved that problem by having a vote on the three top team names. But, we resolved that by having everybody vote. As we do our game I look forward to having kids and adults playing my game.I would like to see how many people liked our game . So that I can say that I made a game and that people liked it. The inspiration for my game is "never give up".

My Amazing Blog

My thoughts on globaloria are that it is fun and I enjoy it. I enjoy it because it is a fun class and we learn a lot of things. There are some things that I don't like though because they aer hard to do but at the end I learn them very we and I end up being very very good. In globaloria I have learned a lot of things. Some of the things I have learned are how to write a very good blog. I have also learned a lot about flash. I also have learned how to do a paper prototype. For Example here is a little piece of one of my longest blogs.Last week our class worked on flash. When we worked on flash I thought that it was kind of easy and kind of hard. It was hard because I got confused with the codes that we had to put in. It was easy because I could follow the steps easily. I also think it was hard because it was messing up a lot, but I was able to fix it with help from Mrs.Miller and Laura. I think it is fun to do because we are having an introduction to our game. When we worked on flash we did every thing we had to do and after we finished. I think I did very good during flash working.

I like to blog about a lot of things. I like to blog "period".The reason I like blog is because sometimes we get to blog about anything we want to and I can blog about what I would like to also I like to blog because other people can see my blogs that I write. In globaloria class we are working on our team game. Our team game is about math our mat objective is objective 4. Objective 4 is measurement. So we are doing a game about measurement.In gloabaloria I look forward to learning more about how to make a game. I look forward to learning about my game because I can make my own game later.

My game concept is about measuring and the social issue is about anything. My game ideas are long so I will tell them later.I am excited about creating my first video game because other kids will be able to see and play a game that I made. in our game we are reqiured to have a social issue topic. Our social issue topic is enviroment. But, there is not a lot of things about enviroment in the game there is just a lot of math. the reason we are reqiured to have a math concept is because on our 6 weeks test there were objectives that everyone had missed a couple of questions. So the teacher told put us in groups and had us make a game out of the objective we missed. We have a social issue topic because we want to inform the people about what is going on so far, and how they can change it.
